Tech Collect Drive Events
Our Tech Collect Drive events are designed to bridge the digital divide by inviting the public to donate their used, broken, and unwanted laptops/computers to have them refurbished and circulated back to those in need in the local community. During the event we also collect other e-waste to be safely recycled and host FREE 30-minutes sessions to ensure that everyone knows the insides of the computer and how they work together. Participants learn 10 tips to maintain and care for a computer and have an opportunity to do a few hands on activities inside the computer.

We offer data erase services but if you want to do it at home beforehand, click here for some tips. Note that you can also decide to simply remove and keep or destroy the hard drive with your data (we can take it out for you during the event).
