Tech Collect Drive Events

Our Tech Collect Drive events are designed to bridge the digital divide by inviting the public to donate their used, broken, and unwanted laptops/computers to have them refurbished and circulated back to those in need in the local community. During the event we also collect other e-waste, metal waste, batteries and printer cartridges to be safely recycled and display components from our Computer Anatomy Workshop to show the audience the insides of the computer and how they work together through an interactive, fun activity.

DROP OFF and PICK UPs

We accept pre-scheduled DROP OFFs at our HUB located in Mississauga, and offer pre-scheduled PICK UPs of unwanted computers, electronics and electrical devices and other e-waste.  A $25-35 pick up fee applies within GTA for residence.

We offer data erase services but if you want to do it at home beforehand, click here for some tips. Note that you can also decide to simply remove and keep or destroy the hard drive with your data (we can take it out for you during the event). 

We have partnered with COM2 Recycling Solutions to collect the e-waste during the event. COM2 is an elite recycler and a premiere leader in the recycling industry that specializes in the recycling of electronic waste, including household batteries.
